Reinvent everything from scratch.

We are going through a unified hardship at the moment. But there is also in this unity a  chance to redo, reinvent and recreate a new system for the future. A revolution in the new way of living and be.

In the end, who are the true heroes that saves the world? What new ideas creates opportunities in this new existence? And who will keep to the same old track, failing to realize the gravity of this shift? In this very moment we are rather looking at the expertise with scientists and medical staff than the people that we normally see as successful. I am curious to follow this movement, who will be the “influencers”, what will be important in what and how we will communicat in the future.

There are many questions and more arising by the hour. Make the most out of these questions, collect them and save them to be dealt with in the future. Creative solutions often start with a question on where and how to find and create new opportunities. My advice is to get rid of the old checklist and to start writing your own list of questions. What thoughts do you have in regard to creating a new world – both philosophical and practical. Go through each and every one of your questions and start thinking about different scenarios and solutions. This way I believe that we are going to see some fantastic initiatives for the years to come.

All the built-up safety, every ‘business as usual’ and old structures are almost gone. So, now’s the time to regard this as an opportunity to start over with new insights, new knowledge and experiences and thus begin the journey towards creating a better version of our way of living on this planet.

The Corona virus has fast tracked the evolution, that deep down, every one of us know that we need to go through. We need to look at the world from a more holistic point of view and build a more sustainable community in all its dimensions.

I can see a new movement of charitability that springs from what it truly means to be a human. Our wants and needs changes to be more focused on implementing what has meaning into everyday life in a new way. We are helping each other out and maybe, at the end of it, our mental health will improve as we are back to connecting with our fellow human beings again. And that’s healing.

”The roots of all goodness lie in the soil of appreciation for goodness”

As I was listening in on a webinar from New York this week I especially took to heart what one of the participants said.

“I feel like Mother Nature has sent us all to our rooms to think about what we’ve done”

That thought is not entirely alien to me. What if mother earth got really tired of us and decided to show us the consequences if we keep living the way we do, ignoring to taking care of our planet in a more sustainable way.

We have at our hand the chance to build new systems, based on real needs in a value-adding and sustainable society. A chance we need to treasure and go for.

Purpose is truly the coming trend of all trends. And this is the decade to make it happen!

Ingvar Kamprad, the founder of IKEA, firmly believed that a crisis is something that gives us the possibility to mold the future and find new ways to tackle the changes one is forced through during a crisis. This is an amazingly enriching and leaning method to adapt. It creates forward movement instead of downwards spirals. What can we learn from the Corona crisis? How can we solve our new way of living? How can we get through this hardship together? I carry the method as a lodestar, and I use it as fuel to take action towards finding solutions.

So, during these hard times, let us create a more value driven and sustainable world so that we can live harmoniously side by side in this place we call Mother Earth.

Take Care Everyone…
